Telehealth Services – Accessible Child
and Family Psychology Care
I provide telehealth therapy and evaluations to make high-quality psychological care accessible to children, teens, college students, and families across Florida, Nebraska, and all PSYPACT-participating states. Through secure, HIPAA-compliant video sessions, I offer the same personalized, evidence-based care that is available in my Naples office, allowing families to access support from the comfort of their home.
Telehealth is ideal for families who have busy schedules, live far from the office, or want consistent care without travel. I tailor each session to your child’s or teen’s developmental needs, using proven strategies to address anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, attention difficulties, learning concerns, and family stress.
Telehealth Services I Offer
Child and Adolescent Therapy
I provide virtual therapy that helps children and teens build coping skills, emotional regulation, and social confidence while addressing challenges such as anxiety, ADHD, depression, and adjustment issues.
SPACE Therapy (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions)
Parents can participate fully in SPACE Therapy online. This evidence-based program teaches strategies to reduce accommodating behaviors and support their child’s independence, without the child needing to attend sessions.
Psychological and Psychoeducational Evaluations
Certain components of evaluations, including interviews and feedback sessions, can be conducted via telehealth. This approach increases convenience while maintaining assessment accuracy and clarity.
Therapy for College Students
I offer telehealth sessions for college students adjusting to academic and social pressures, helping them manage stress, develop executive functioning skills, and improve emotional resilience.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is telehealth therapy as effective as in-person sessions?
Yes. Research shows that virtual therapy can be just as effective as in-person care when delivered by a trained psychologist using evidence-based techniques.
What technology do I need for telehealth sessions?
You will need a computer, tablet, or smartphone with a camera and microphone, along with a stable internet connection. Sessions are conducted via a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform.
Can both parents participate in telehealth sessions?
Yes. Parents and caregivers can join sessions from different locations if needed, which is especially helpful for SPACE Therapy and parent coaching.
Are telehealth sessions confidential?
Absolutely. All sessions follow strict HIPAA privacy standards, and I take additional measures to ensure confidentiality and security during online sessions.
How do I schedule a telehealth session?
You can request an appointment online or call my office. I will review your needs, discuss whether telehealth is appropriate, and help schedule a time that works for your family.
