Workshop Policies and Informed Consent
By registering, parents/guardians and students agree to the following terms: This 3-session online workshop supports high school students navigating college applications by teaching executive functioning and wellness skills such as goal setting, time management, motivation, stress management, and building healthy routines. It is designed to help students manage this stressful period but does not assist with completing applications, nor guarantee college acceptance. The instructor will not review essays or applications. Although led by Dr. Sonya Bhatia, a licensed psychologist, this workshop is not therapy, counseling, or assessment, and does not create a therapeutic relationship or generate medical records. Students needing clinical support should seek licensed professionals. Respectful behavior is required. Disruptions, threats, insults, or harassment will lead to immediate removal without refund. All bookings are final. No refunds will be given for cancellations, missed classes, dissatisfaction, or technical issues including internet or device problems. This is a wellness class, not an application completion service, so no refunds if applications are incomplete or if the child does not gain admittance to college. Participation involves risks including emotional discomfort. By registering, you assume all risks and release the instructor and organizers from liability except for gross negligence or willful misconduct. By signing up, parents/guardians and students confirm they understand and accept these terms. If under 18, registration must be completed by a parent or guardian.
